Group Visit Application Guide

Step 1 | Select the Temple to Visit

Please select the temple you wish to visit:

  • Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin (Oahu)
    Approximately 20 minutes by car from Honolulu Airport / 15 minutes from the convention venue
  • Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin (Hawaii Island)
    Approximately 10 minutes by car from Hilo Airport (about a 1-hour flight from Honolulu)
  • Other Temples
    Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii has 31 temples, including the two Betsuin. If you would like to visit a temple other than the two Betsuin, please contact the Headquarters. Availability and scheduling vary by temple.

Step 2 | How to Apply

For Visits to Hawaii Betsuin and Hilo Betsuin
Available dates and times for group visits before and after the convention have been set in advance.
Please apply using one of the following methods:

  • Submit an online application form.
  • Download the application form (PDF) and send it by email or fax.
